How to get rid of ads on Instagram?

Sick of “sponsored content”? Let’s get them out of the scene!
Step 1: Report as inappropriate.
Click on the three dots to reveal the menu, click on “Report Ad”, select your reason as “It’s inappropriate”. (This is the most effective option among others)
Step 2: Repeat that for every ad you see.
So start reporting all the ads you see as “inappropriate” at least for a week. You are going to be seeing fewer ads once you start reporting them. Finally your feed is going to be ad-free or 1/200 sponsored content. Easy, huh?
Step 3: Do the same for story ads.
The same method works to banish the story ads. Click the three dots (on the upper right) to reveal the menu, select “Report Ad”, select “It’s inappropriate”.
It’s possible to create ads-free Instagram feed. Don’t give up on Instagram, enjoy without ad interruption!
